Mini split system air handlers come in the following types: Wall Mounted, Ceiling Cassette, Ceiling Suspended, Concealed Duct, Floor Mounted, and Multi-Positional. Each Air Handler is controlled separately by their own remote control giving you full control over each room’s heating and cooling systems. The air handlers can be set up in separate rooms or on opposite sides/floors of a large area (warehouse). The only alterations to the building will be small holes in the wall for the line sets, a pad put in place for the outdoor unit and four wall brackets installed onto the inside wall. All necessary accessories are on each product listing for your convenience.
To size your new 4 Zone Mini Split in order to determine the BTU rating for each air handler, use the square footage for each separate space. This allows you to have customized climate control in each room. Use the below chart for estimating only and consult a professional to get your exact needs.
