Designed to handle poor air quality, such as high humidity and negative pressure, the Modine PTX250 will bring in fresh, clean air from outside the building to improve indoor air conditions.
The furnace of the PTX250 is designed with a minimum efficiency of 82%, provided by a heat exchanger with individually fired tubes that create minimal noise while still providing maximum heat transfer.
The PTX model is smaller than other models and has 4 built-in suspension points to accept 3/8" wide, 16" long rods for mounting.
This unit comes in a corrosion-resistant casing and has an aluminized-steel heat exchanger, which slows down general wear-and-tear. It is also designed to ensure proper ignition while withstanding wind velocities of up to 40 miles per hour. A built-in automatic safety switch is provided in the event of overheating.
This unit heater includes a 2-year parts and 10-year heat exchanger warranty.
