In 1938 one company in Ohio, Frey Equipment, got their start into the HVAC industry. Richard ‘Dick’ Frey was well respected in the HVAC markets and was one of the first manufacturers reps. In the southern Ohio markets. In those days it was expected that the rep was the engineer for most of the difficult projects. One of his employees, Denny Gullette would later take over the business as Gullette Air and continue as a commercial hvac representative. Denny also was a very detailed engineer who was highly respected throughout the hvac market. After Denny’s passing the company was purchased from Denny’s wife. We started the business right after September 11th, 2001 when the entire market crashed. Despite the hard times, sales were taking off. Within a few years we began manufacturing spiral ductwork and our company grew from there. We were transitioning from a standard commercial representative to one that manufactured all the ductwork even on the most complex commercial projects. In 2015 we realized that there was a new market developing and decided to launch a new online store to sell hvac equipment direct to the public.
