Each of our 6 Zone Mini Split Systems come complete with either an outdoor Air Conditioner or Heat Pump and six indoor Air Handlers. These systems allow you to control the heating and cooling of six separate rooms or spaces within your home or building, with no ductwork required. Using a system with a heat pump allows you to efficiently heat the rooms in the winter as well as cool them in the summer.
Bring the most sophisticated whole-house climate control system to your home with a 6 zone mini split air conditioner system. Imagine having the ability to air condition six zones within your living area, each with its own air delivery unit and each with its own thermostat for individualized comfort control.
A 6 zone ductless mini split system includes a large-capacity condenser on the outside and six air handlers – each with an evaporator coil and thermostat – on the inside. The air handlers can be different styles and capacities, depending on the zone they’re assigned to.
Choose from two of the top brands in the industry – Daikin and Gree. We’re proud to partner with these great manufacturers, and we’re proud to offer savings to you in three ways: (1) On the initial price (2) With free shipping on nearly all models and (3) On energy savings for years to come. Order processing is fast, and product support is second to none.
Heat pumps enable AC systems to provide year-round climate control. A 6 zone mini split heat pump extracts heat from the outside air and delivers it inside, essentially running the AC process in reverse. A ductless mini split heat pump is the perfect solution for moderate heat needs, and in some parts of the country, can completely replace conventional furnaces.
Essentially, one room = one zone, but you can combine small adjacent areas with a room to create a zone. A ductless mini split multi zone system should have a minimum of 6,000 BTUs per zone, with an outside condenser unit capable of handling the combined capacity of six different air handlers.
While 6,000 BTUs is the minimum that a 6 zone mini split system should supply, the number needs to be revised upward if the room is large or is adjacent to large open areas, has high ceilings or large windows or isn’t insulated well. In a properly-matched multi zone ductless mini split air conditioner system, the combined BTU capacity of the air handlers should be slightly greater than the condenser. This is essential for energy efficiency.
The column of numbers on the left indicates the various combinations of air handlers in our inventory. Each number represents an air handler and the value of each number indicates the air handler’s BTU capacity, times 1000. For example, 7+9+9+9+12+15 means you get one air handler rated at 7,000 BTUs, three air handlers rated at 9,000 BTUs each, one air handler rated at 12,000 BTUs and one air handler rated at 15,000 BTUs.
The below chart is a rough estimate only. You will need a professional Mini Split Installer to give you a more accurate sizing based on the specifications of your home.
Square footage = BTU Output
150 to 250 sq ft = 6,000 BTUs
250 to 300 sq ft = 7,000 BTUs
300 to 350 sq ft = 8,000 BTUs
350 to 400 sq ft = 9,000 BTUs
400 to 450 sq ft = 10,000 BTUs
450 to 550 sq ft = 12,000 BTUs
550 to 700 sq ft = 14,000 BTUs
700 to 1,000 sq ft = 18,000 BTUs
1,000 to 1,200 sq ft = 21,000 BTUs
1,200 to 1,400 sq ft = 23,000 BTUs
1,500 sq ft = 24,000 BTUs

Mini split systems tend to be a lot more efficient than your typical central split systems. SEER ratings for mini split systems usually range from 18 SEER all the way up to an amazing 30 SEER. With SEER ratings like that, your system will be able to reduce your energy bills significantly compared to standard central split systems.
Ever wanted different rooms in your house set at different temperatures? Mini split systems allow you to set each zone a different temperature and giving you the power to control the temperatures throughout your house easily.
Ductless mini split systems are exactly as their names would lead on: Ductless. Ductwork is not needed for mini split systems and instead they use copper line sets to run the refrigerant to the indoor units. This allows you to place your air handler in the space that you want it and requires less maintenance than a duct system.
Ductless mini split systems have sound ratings as low as 19 dB for the inside unit. With sound ratings that low, it means that they can operate quieter than a whisper. This allows you to stay comfortable without being distracted by annoying noises.
