Gas & Propane MUA units boast intermittent spark ignition systems with timed safety lockout and redundant valves. They are made from stainless steel, utilizing aluminum gas supply sections with non-clogging combustion baffles. All models meet the highest American National Standard/CSA Standards for Gas unit heaters and Gas fired duct furnaces. MUA units are ETL listed- including their Safety Control Boards. Both Gas and Propane models are 3 phase, 208 volt. In addition, they feature Commercial smoke detection Interlocks.

What is a makeup air unit?
A Make-Up Air Unit is a system designed to replace, or “make-up” any air that is removed from your interior space by exhaust fans or other forced air replacement processes. A Rupp Air MUA pulls in and circulates fresh, tempered air from the outdoors, replacing all air that for industrial or commercial reasons cannot be recirculated safely.

Rupp models feature 15”, 20” & 24 “fans, ranging from 1000 CFM up to 6000 CFM strengths. They feature 5000 horsepower ratings and are 3 Phase/208 V systems. Ruud makes both Gas & Propane versions.
