Reviews for 9,000 BTU ACiQ Standard 24.5 SEER2 Single Zone Wall Mounted Mini Split Heat Pump System – R454B | 115V

5-Star Review: Highly Recommended ACiQ 9,000 BTU Mini SplitI purchased the ACiQ Standard 24.5 SEER2 Single Zone Wall Mount Mini Split Heat Pump System (9,000 BTU, R454B, 115V) from HVAC Direct over a year ago, and I couldn’t be happier with both the unit and the entire experience. My local AC company quoted me $4,800 installed. By ordering from HVAC Direct and doing the install myself, I got the complete system for right around $1,500 — a massive savings with no sacrifice in quality. The unit was well-packaged, arrived quickly, and included everything needed (aside from the line set and basic mounting hardware). The real standout, though, was the customer service from HVAC Direct. When I accidentally ordered the wrong part, their team was incredibly helpful — they made the return painless and guided me to the exact correct component I needed. Their support gave me the confidence to tackle the install on my own, and everything went smoothly.Performance-wise, this little 9k BTU unit has been flawless for the past year. It cools and heats my space quietly and efficiently, even during hot summers and colder shoulder seasons. No issues, no strange noises, no loss of performance. The 24.5 SEER2 rating is clearly delivering on energy efficiency too — my electric bills have stayed reasonable. If you’re considering a mini split and are comfortable with a DIY install (or have a handy friend), I highly recommend this ACiQ system and buying from HVAC Direct. Outstanding value, excellent support, and a rock-solid product. I would buy from them again without hesitation.

Always great service from HVAC direct.

Installed this system myself. Had to call tech support a few times to keep me on track, which was a big help.
Watched some generic youtube videos as well.
This system works great and is keeping g my 2500sqft home in Tahoe warm.

I bought this to help heat and cool my daughter's room. It is working great and she loves it. Now looking to replace central air unit with one of their heat pumps.

Excellent packing and shipping, equipment all looks well made, good price and nice features. I had a question and got prompt call back from tech support with a clear answer.

Easy to mount, works flawlessly, very quiet, and maintains set temperature.

It was straightforward to install. The HVAC engineer who did the link connections and charging complained that there was only one charge port.
It runs quiet and is cooling very well. Yet to try the heat but it is 80 out here

Very satisfied so far

The equipment is excellent, and we are getting what we hoped for.

I am very happy with the order so far but we have not installed them yet. I am meeting with my contractor tomorrow in fact to make that plan for the installation so I will keep you posted as to how it's going.
