The Canarm GSF Series Shutter-Mounted Exhaust Fan is designed for light commercial ventilation applications, providing smooth, reliable, and maintenance-free operation. Available in sizes ranging from 10 to 30 inches. The series offers airflow capacities from 600 to 5,088 CFM across its listed models. Its galvanized frame and aluminum shutters provide a durable construction for dependable exhaust ventilation.
The GSF Series offers convenient airflow control with three-speed pull-chain operation on models ranging from 10 to 24 inches. The 30-inch model features two-speed operation. Each fan is equipped with a totally enclosed 120V motor with Class B insulation and thermal protection to support safe, reliable operation.
For added convenience, each unit includes a 25-inch pull chain, a 6-foot power cord with plug, and an adjustable thermostat with bypass. The thermostat supports temperature control within a range of 32°F to 130°F (0°C to 54°C), making the series suitable for light commercial spaces requiring dependable exhaust ventilation.

What's Included
Each Canarm GSF Series exhaust fan is shipped fully assembled and factory tested for proper operation. The unit includes the shutter-mounted exhaust fan assembly, complete with the motor, propeller, galvanized frame, aluminum shutters, power cord and plug, pull chain switch, and adjustable thermostat. A user manual is also included.
Safety Features
- Secure Mounting: Install the fan securely according to the manufacturer's instructions using suitable supports and fasteners.
- Qualified Electrical Installation: Ensure proper wiring and grounding in accordance with applicable electrical codes.
- Power-Off Servicing: Disconnect and lock out power before installation, cleaning, or maintenance.
- Thermal Overload Protection: The motor features automatic thermal protection and may restart without warning after cooling.
- Proper Mounting Height and Guarding: Mount moving parts at least 8.2 feet (2.5 meters) above floor or grade level, or provide appropriate exterior guarding.
- Routine Maintenance: Keep the motor, propeller, and louvers clean; check fasteners and ensure the louvers operate freely. Do not pressure-wash the fan.
- Indoor Use: Protect the fan from water and rain. Do not use it to exhaust hazardous or explosive materials or vapors.
Warranty Information
CANARM Ltd. provides a 1-year standard warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. During the warranty period, CANARM Ltd. may, at its option, repair or replace any product or part found to be defective, subject to the applicable warranty terms and conditions.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser-user. It does not cover labor or transportation costs associated with removing or reinstalling the unit. Warranty coverage is void in cases of alteration, accident, abuse, neglect, or operation not in accordance with the instructions. Repaired or replaced components are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
