Choose from a variety of options for cabinet size (17-1/2” to 24-1/2”), airflow (1200 CFM to 2000 CFM) flow pattern (upflow, downflow and horizontal), efficiency (80% to 98%), burner stages (single, double and modulating) and blower type (multi speed and variable speed).
Energy usage is a concern for a product with this much capacity, but Goodman 80,000 BTU furnaces are among the most energy efficient furnaces in the industry with high AFUE ratings.
AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) measures how efficient an appliance is in using the fuel that runs it. Goodman’s 80,000 BTU furnaces range in efficiency from 80% up to a nearly perfect 98%. This results in significant cost savings for you over the course of a year.
For many of the models, the control system on the blower motors aids in the efficient delivery of heat. Fan speed is regulated so that the unit gradually slows to a halt as the thermostat setting is reached, rather than a full-on, full-off cycle that wastes energy and creates drafts.
