Reviews for ACiQ Standard Series 1.5 Ton 16 SEER2 80% AFUE 70,000 BTU Hybrid Heat Pump and Furnace System - R454B Inverter - Multi-Positional

2nd system I have bought. I did have some wiring questions and support was awesome walking me thru it. Awesome product and awesome support!

I'm not an HVAC professional, however I do have rudimentary knowledge of how things work. This weekend I replaced our 17-year-old 2-ton condenser/3 ton coil with a ACiQ-36-EHPB, 3-ton coil, and lineset. After a bit of futzing with ductwork and creative thermostat wiring, I have the unit up and running with the existing gas furnace set up for AUX heat.

I have to say that the install was relatively smooth. We moved the condenser from the south side of the house where it baked in the sun to the northeast side where it is shaded most of the day. I had to add 12.5 oz of refrigerant to top off the additional length of line and everything works great. 22 degree drop across the coil and pours water out of the condensation line.

The ACiQ-36-EHPB is eerily quiet. My sprinklers make more noise than the condenser and fan does. Also, this has the softest of soft starts. The compressor slowly spins up from 0 which is perfect for people who may need to run this from a generator. I tested mine and it ran with no problem. This is in contrast to never being able to start the old one, even after buying a soft start.

I am extremely pleased with the ACiQ-36-EHPB so far. Also, HVAC direct was great to work with, got the unit out the door fast, and I will definitely shop here again.

As of this moment, i cant drop a survey for we are still in diagnostic with some issue to be resolve. Meantime, 3 star is at hand but after resolving i will get back for my final survey.

Easy install great options in the setup. Quiet and well built.

Had a few hickups with substitution and delay but staff was helpful, available, and did the best they could. I appreciate the support and the equipment. HVAC Direct is ok! Thanks

I couldn't be happier with the product and how quickly it was delivered

I found the purchasing process was very easy and shipping was just as good. I would definitely refer you to others and would use your services for myself if ever needed again. thanks.

Great product, you don’t even realize it is running it is so quiet

We feel great about the products and doing business with you. First class service, support and expertise.

It worked really well. Our first ACIQ, requested by the customer. We created our own problems not being familiar with the model. It was taken care of by AD. Great product.
