Are PTAC unit sizes from 2012 the same as the new ones, do these units come with a warranty, and are this units new or refurbished?

Regarding size, most likely yes. The PTAC should be the same size as older models. PTAC manufacturers have been standardizing their dimensions for a long time now. Most should be the same size, but there are a few oddball units that are a different one. If you have an existing one, I would measure the dimensions of where its installed and see how it compares to the PTH153G25AXXX. The wall sleeve used with the PTH153G25AXXX (model number: WS900E;) has all of the required dimensions outlined in its installation manual (found in the Resources section on the wall sleeve's page). If yours matches it, then the PTH153G25AXXX can easily replace it.
