Can the Buck Stove 74 Insert be used with the door opened?

For optimum efficiency and longer burn times, high efficiency wood inserts like the Buck 74 are intended be operated with the door closed. Operating the unit with the door open for long periods of time could cause the stove to overheat and potentially damage the stove. Please give us a call if we can help further. Thanks!
