My chimney is deteriorating but intact, am I able to get insert?

Great question. Prior to installation, it is highly recommended that your chimney be fully inspected by a professional installer. Per the manufacturers installation manual: "Fireplace and Chimney Condition The masonry fireplace and chimney should be inspected prior to installation, to confirm that they are free from cracks, loose mortar, creosote deposits, blockage, or other signs of deterioration. If evidence of deterioration is noted, the fireplace or chimney should be upgraded and cleaned prior to installation."Installation Manual. If you are in need of a professional installation company, we recommend Thumbtack,it is a great resource to find a contractor. A lot of our customers and employees have had great luck with finding a contractor through them. Helpful tip: Call smaller companies. The larger companies will not take labor only jobs.
