How do you use this cleaner? Do you have to take off the outside grill on the condenser or can you spray the cleaner on entire unit?

To use the CC-18OZ coil cleaner aerosol, shut off electrical power to the unit, shake the can well, and spray the foaming solution evenly across the aluminum coil fins from a distance of about 6 to 10 inches. While taking off the outer grille isn't strictly required, doing so is highly recommended to clear out trapped debris like leaves and dirt so you can spray the cleaner directly onto the metal fins. You should refrain from spraying cleaner blindly onto the outer cabinet or painted housing, and instead direct the spray specifically onto the coil fins while keeping the chemical away from electrical control panels and motor wiring. Once applied, allow the cleaner to foam for 5 to 10 minutes to loosen built-up grime, and then rinse it thoroughly with a gentle hose stream from the inside facing outward.
