How does the condensation drain from ceiling cassettes?

Thank you for your question. Ceiling cassettes come with an integral condensate pump. The installer connects a drain hose to the pump outlet and runs the drain hose to a drain or to the outside. The condensate drain line for this particular unit goes away from the unit horizontally. You can also take the condensate drain line upwards first and then horizontally. However, we would not recommend having more than a foot of the condensate drain line running upwards as the pump is not strong enough for such applications. For more assistance, please give us a call.
