How far can one zone be from the main unit?

Thank you for your question. Each zone is heated and cooled by the indoor air handler which will be connected to the outside condenser via line sets. The distance at which each air handler can be installed from condenser is dependent upon the line set length. For this system, 25' and 16' line sets are available as an additional accessory purchase. You will have to allow enough length for the line set to run from the condenser, the distance between the condenser and the air handler and through the wall to connect to the air handler. Depending on your situation, a line set extension kits are available for MRCOOL systems. For assistance in this, please give us a call.
