How high should it sit on a platform?

Thank you for your question. We recommend a platform that is high enough to keep it from sitting directly on the ground. Our equipment pad, which can be purchased separately as an accessory for this product, is 3" in thickness. We also have a wall bracket for the condenser which keeps the outdoor condenser much higher off the ground. Either option should work, but if you are worried about deep snowfall, the wall mounted bracket may be the best option for you. Both the equipment pad and wall mount bracket can be found with the other accessories on this product page. All of these accessories are located beneath the "add to cart" button.
