How noisy is the outside unit and how much clearance does it need from nearby bushes and trees?

"Great question. Per the manufacturer: Operation noise tests are performed in an anechoic chamber with an extremely low 10dB(A) of background noise. This is just one of the ways we ensure our customers enjoy extremely quiet air conditioners with a minimum operation noise of 19dB(A) (sound pressure level).
