I have a low ceiling of 8', we currently have an older stove with an 8" straight pipe. Can I use a reducer at the bottom to fit a 6"?

It is acceptable to increase a 6" wood stove to an 8" chimney. Good practice is to use 6" pipe as far as you can before increasing to 8". Please give us a call if we can help further. Thanks!
