I have a new 3.5 ton Goodman A coil, if I purchase a 2.5 ton Goodman condenser will they work together?

In many instances, Goodman matches evaporator coils that are of a larger tonnage than the condenser. However, we would need to know the model number of the coil you have to confirm that it will work in this instance. We always recommend getting a certified Goodman matched setup like the combinations we have on our site. When provided with the model number of the coil we can confirm that it is a certified match with this condenser. If it isn't a manufacturer match it can have performance and warranty implications.
