If using this chimney pipe which brings in outside air for combustion, is an air intake at firebox required?

The Majestic SL300-KIT-15 Chimney Kit does not require outside air for safe operation. Your local building authority may require an outside air kit to supply combustion air to a newly installed wood burning fireplace. Please give us a call if we can help further. Thanks!
