I'm confused on the standard manufactures warranty on ACIQ-48-EHPD / ACIQ-48-AH ? I thought it was parts 7 years compressor 12 years. Can you please tell me the warranty ? I'm greatly considering purchasing the unit through HVAC direct but I need clarity concerning the coverage.

The standard manufacturer warranty for the ACIQ-48-EHPD / ACIQ-48-AH system is 5 years parts and 7 years compressor from the date of purchase, but if the system is registered online within 90 days of a residential installation, the warranty is upgraded to 7 years parts and 12 years compressor coverage for the original registered owner.
