I’m looking for a 24,000 BTU mini split & live in north east Pa. Wonder what would be the best model?

Thank you for your question. When sizing your system, we recommend that you factor in not only the square footage of the space you will be heating and cooling, but also consider the insulation quality, number of windows and climate zone. This particular unit is a single zone system for heating and cooling one room or zone. It is rated to efficiently heat with outdoor temperatures as low as -4 degrees Fahrenheit. If temperatures lower than this are uncommon in your area, this system should be great for your climate zone. You may just want to have a back up heating source for those rare occasions that temperatures drop below -4. However, if temperatures commonly drop below -4, you may want to have an alternative heat source for those extremely cold days or you may want to consider a mini split system that is rated for heating at lower outdoor temperatures. For instance, one of the ACiQ 24,000 BTU systems we carry is rated to heat with outdoor temperatures as low as -22 degrees Fahrenheit. To view this system, please Click Here.
