Is there any gas fumes?

This product should be professionally installed only, by an NFI qualified installer. According to the installation manual, pg 1, Installation manual if you do smell gas you should leave the building immediately and contact a local gas supplier or your local fire department. If installed and maintained per installation manual, you should not smell gas.
