Looking for system that can function as dehumidifier as well ...for basement install.

Mini splits naturally dehumidify the spaces they are installed. They can also be run on a low setting to help with dehumidification. Mini splits, however, are not a true dehumidifier in the sense that they cannot be set to a humidity level.
