What size ductwork is needed?

If you are replacing an existing furnace in your home, the current ductwork may be fine. However, we recommend getting a local contractor involved so they can determine if new ductwork is necessary. This furnace can handle between 2-4 tons of airflow (800-1600 CFM) for cooling and is factory set to around 1200 CFM for heating, so the contractor will need to determine whether or not your current duct design is suitable for those airflow rates.
