The Aciq ptac comes with a 7 year warranty. Does this extend it to 9 or what additional coverage does it supply?

For the ACiQ PTAC, the “7-year warranty” does not extend the entire unit warranty to 9 years. Instead, it extends coverage on the compressor and sealed refrigeration system from the standard 5 years to 7 years when the unit is registered within 90 days of installation. The parts warranty remains 1 year on most PTAC models.
