What is an HVLS Fan?

An HVLS fan is a High Volume, Low Speed fan. It uses its large size to move a huge amount of air at a slow rotation speed. The air is directed toward the floor and spreads out, creating a cooling breeze that can make the space feel up to about 10°F (6°C) cooler.
