Will this work if power goes out? Obviously the blower won’t but will it still heat?

Yes, the unit will work with out power, the electronic ignition model would have a battery backup. You are correct, the only thing that would not work is the blower, that is ran off 110 Volt power. If you have any further questions please feel free to give us a call! Thanks.
