The SQRD16X12TO14 square-to-round adapter is designed by Trane to transition a 16" x 12" rectangular opening to a 14" round connection, but it will only work on a 2-ton RunTru packaged unit if its physical supply or return opening matches those exact rectangular dimensions. Because packaged unit opening sizes vary by cabinet layout and tonnage, you should measure your specific unit's duct flange opening to verify it measures 16" x 12" before installation.
