Gas Patio Heaters are available in larger sizes capable of heating areas up to 215 square feet, with natural gas are cheaper to operate than electric patio heaters but do come with a higher price tag per heater. The largest Electric Patio Heaters are capable of heating up to 160 square feet and are more affordable than gas models but do typically cost more per hour to use vs natural gas heaters.

Electric Patio Heaters can be installed in enclosed or partially enclosed spaces, as they produce no emissions. Gas models are safe for outdoor use only and must have proper ventilation.

Electric Patio Heaters are available in wide range of heating capabilites ranging from 25 square feet up to 160 square feet. Gas Patio Heaters are available in sized capable of heating from 64 square feet up to 215 square feet.
