    My 21 year old furnace died in the middle of winter. Called on Friday and had a new 60,000 btu Aciq delivered to my garage in 4 days . Installed it the next day and it’s been doing great. Hopefully helps with the gas bill ????

  5. Decent unit
    Been great so far, fairly simple install. Really happy with it so far. Only issues I had was that it came with the bear air filter housing and they didn't tell me that when I was chatting with them about my order. I ordered the housing separately and ended up with two. Also the flexible gas line I ordered in the install kit leaked badly, you could see a ridge down the flare. Not a big deal though all in all it was good. Got it in about a week, and installed it over the weekend. Efficiency seems great, got this unit to replace my 30 year old broken down furnace.

    It did what I wanted it to do it’s okay
    I got into an arguement with my family though when I read 3 ton I assume it was going to be very heavy so I spent money on a specialized tool to pick it up but when it showed up it wasn’t heavy in fact I could carry it myself I don’t like the fact my family argued with me about it but I wished I wasn’t a fool and assumed it was going to be 3 ton who even knows what the hell tonnage mean I just wish there was some kind of bigass bright letters and words saying it’s not actually 3 ton

  9. Everything was great besides a dent in the coil. Looks like damage occurred before shipment .
    It took a hit hard enough to bend the wire grill and fins. The super nice shipping box was untouched . But when the thick corrugated shipping cardboard was removed, there was the dent which seemed to be there before it was shipped. The liquid line was bent (but not kinked) off to the side as well.
    Was I happy about that ? No. But it needed to be put in service and I was glad to find a 410a unit at this point.
    I can't see the dent from my house as they say. But it should have been a "scratch and dent special" in my opinion.

  12. Good build quality.
    The AC started right up after finishing the brazing, purge and vacuum. The only minor thing is the 3/8" liquid side needs a coupling brazed on to get a strong connection. I like that a filter drier was included and the build quality was significantly better than the equipment I was ripping out.

    After one week of service system performs well. However the real test is yet to come when summer heat in the desert reaches 115+ then the system will truly reveal its capability. Currently at 92F its very capable.

  18. Easy to DIY install and quiet furnace
    I got the ACiQ natural gas upflow forced air 80,000 BTU model to replace a failed 20 year old Carrier in my home. I ordered Thursday late afternoon and got it on Monday morning in NJ. I paid for liftgate delivery; the driver brought the unit to my front door. The packaging was fantastic; there were no dents, scratches and damage. Accessories needed to install were all there inside the unit by the blower. The unit is much quieter and simpler design than the one it replaced. It should be easier to maintain. It has been working flawlessly for over a week now. Very happy with my purchase!

    I switched my furnace this year from an oil furnace to this ACIQ natural gas furnace. My wife and I have been very pleased with everything. The unit arrived quicky in perfect condition. It keeps our house nice and warm and the efficiency level has made the gas bills very easy on our wallet especially compared to the old oil furnace we replaced it with. We have no complaints and will definitely buy from HVAC direct in the future if we need any other HVAC items.

    it's getting very hard to find 410A air condensers with the warp seed phase out. we have been buying a lot of equipment from HVAC Direct due to having what we need in stock all of our local distributors do not have any 410A left.     Bought this and thought I would take a chance on it. Turns out it is very quiet and very efficient. Very pleased with my purchase. Be careful. I also ordered an A coil that was shipped on top of the condensing unit which made it top heavy. It should have been shipped separately to avoid it from falling over. Thankfully nothing was damaged.

    Very impressed with the service. I ordered on 02/08/2024 and received on 02/12/2024, @ 09:30 am. Shipped from Georgia to Charlotte NC. Delivered by R&L Trucking. Delivered with no damage at all. They did a very good job. I also liked the quality of the product. Since it was a condenser and evaporation coil, too early to know how it will perform. But I feel confident it will perform well. I would also like to dispel talk that this product (ACIQ) is cheap Chinese made. My units shows being made by ICP, Mexico. ICP makes several different brands. As for me I prefer USA made, but I will take made in Mexico rather than China.

    My new AC keeps the house to within 1 degree F of the thermostat setting, and my electricity bill is down 20%. Even on the hottest days (we had over 30 near 100F this summer, this unit is so efficient that it goes off for about 7 minutes after running for 15 or 17. we are very pleased!

    I didn’t realize my unit wasn’t efficient until it quit working. I live in 100 year old house for 18 years. Always had to run fans with the air to cool upstairs. This unit has been able to cool with no problem. Just installed in May so have not had heating experience yet. A friend installed for me and recommended your company.     Thanks for the ease of ordering and the one thing I found difficult was tracking the item as your site does not have the capability to do so therefore I had to call support to find out 'where' and 'when' that item would be at my home so I could leave work to be there in time to unload it as I had no way to get it off the ground into a truck and take to another location.

    I completed the new furnace/AC install, and am very pleased with all the products. My order arrived quickly, was packed/crated very well and delivered with care. One of several nice features of HVAC Direct's website were the sizing calculators and the complete package "kits" (furnace/evaporator coil & condensing unit), which made me confident that the components I was ordering would work with/fit each other. The detailed descriptions with each product also were convenient for comparing the different kits so I knew exactly what I was ordering. The website is well done and convenient to navigate. Although I was hoping to purchase either American Standard or Trane, the ICP (Carrier) products you carried seemed like a reasonable compromise and I was pleased with the build quality of all the components.

    As far as I can tell the products purchase from you are of the highest quality. Installing the equipment in my home allowed me time to avoid shortcuts in workmanship, so only time will tell. I suggest you ask the question again in twenty years. maintenance is the key now including air filters, cleaning of coils and replacing switches as they reach their end of service life.

    Formerly I was licensed in the State of Texas Class B environmental and commercial allowing all of that to expire December 28, 2004. I'm 63 years of age now, employed outside of this industry and no longer have to climb into attics.

    Finally I appreciate the interactions with your sales staff. They have proven themselves generous and knowledgeable. I would appreciate seeing an expansion of your services to include replacement parts.

    Glad I found HVACDirect online. My furnace was dead. Having hvac experience, I just needed equipment. Hvac companies won't sell to the public and the big home improvement stores were not only 50% more expensive but had a several day wait period for shipping. At Hvacdirect I was able to pick up same day and save hundreds. I live in Georgia and almost didn't make the call to Ohio as it's a 20 hour round trip and I didn't want to go without heat waiting for delivery. Glad I did though since I learned that you have warehouses in Georgia. (You may want to add that to your website) I was pleased with your customer service. Questions answered, payment seamless, good product and value. Small glitch in communication between service rep and warehouse causing a delay at pickup but that was ironed out in a few minutes. Overall a great experience. I will definitely recommend HVACdirect to friends and family and use again myself.

    The only thing that became a problem was the shipping as I was told that everything was in stock and would ship the following monday or tuesday at the latest and that did not happen for about

    three weeks and then the freight company did not deliver until the 9th of january a lot different than 7 to 10 days.

    I schedualed installation for the week after xmas and had to cancel due to non delivery and now everyone is to busy so will have to get furnace installed and wait for 3 ft of snow to melt

    everything went well from delivery until the furnace was running. Except one thing. I was doing the propane conversion, and one step was a little confusing. The flame wasn’t getting enough fuel. I tried a few things, then went back and reversed one step ( replaced the springs I was instructed to remove. Then, the burner worked instantly. I adjusted it a little bit and it was perfect.

    I like the way it runs. Very smooth and quiet. It is in a rental house, so I don’t have any experience with it since installing it. But, I haven’t had any complaints, that is the goal.

    We purchased this furnace when our old furnace's heat exchanger went out. This furnace is so much better than the old Carrier furnace that was 17 years old.
