- HVAC equipmentOrdered furnace, ac coil, and condenser to match. Upon arrival all three items we're damaged, I refused shipment and took pictures. I contacted HVAC direct immediately and informed them of the situation. They sent out new equipment without any delay and the new shipment arrived quicker than the first. Second time around all HVAC equipment is in great condition. I have not finished installing yet, but I am impressed with the speed in which HVAC direct solved my shipping damage. I will be ordering more in the future because of their willingness to make a bad situation good!

- Fine I guess.The unit cools our house well most of the time. Occasionally it shuts off on sweltering hot days. And sometimes the compressor hard starts several times before kicking on.

- Good american made.Being from Houston were they make them the quality is very good the dependable is very good overall I've had good luck over a 30 year investment in goodman products. Some give them a bad wrap but I would put them up against the big names any day.

- Goodman refuses to fixThe concerns the maker, not HVACDirect. Goodman's warranty has an absolute arbitration clause, clue #1 CYA and they would not their mistake with the homeowner direct. They will talk to your professional installer OR who sold the unit. Problem: The spy hole in the bottom panel is in the wrong place - Error codes are NOT visible unless the cover is removed, which the interlock switch prevents the unit from operating. The circuit bd placement or assembly error is not something the homeowner needs to spend $$ correcting. I have no respect for Goodman, and the 1 stars reflect upon them. Is it just my unit? That's why a class action would help but it is not legally allowed.

But in my case I must say the gentleman that that helped me with my condensing unit/EVAP coil order was most definitely one of the most professional and courteous C.S agents I've had in a long time.

I communicated with your place by the online chat a couple times before I ordered the unit and that went fine with that - Your staff gave a fast response to a couple questions I had.
I got a prompt order confirmation right after I ordered - After a few days I got the shipping confirmation. I was easily able to track the shipping progress on that company's website. My driveway is a little tight which concerned me some about delivery. The delivery driver gave me a phone call when he arrived at the end of my driveway. I met him out on our main little country road with my pickup. He was a really nice guy - We transferred the A/C unit onto my truck and all went well. I got the unit delivered to my house in less than 10 days, like I was originally told by your staff.
The unit was installed the next day, just in time to beat our early Minnesota heatwave and all is working well with it.

- Everything went as plannedI installed the little furnace the afternoon it arrived. Well I transported it 100 miles northward and then installed it on the plenum I had built for the former furnace. I made certain the footprint was the same as the former downdraft. The unit is an upgrade to the 40,000 BTU, which operated well for about 15 years there.
As far as dealing with you folks, everything went as planned, save for the delivery delay due to whatever strange weather was plaguing everyone the one day. No fault of yours. My plan was to install before that wicked sub-zero set in and I accomplished that. No frozen water pipes in our cabin in the forest.Review by Paul

- Happy with itI finally got that furnace installed. I'm pretty happy with it, mostly probably because I'm warmer, but it was a pleasant experience buying from HVAC Direct. Even the shipper was nice and prompt. I don't have any complaints, except I didn't know what I was doing when I started. Had I to do it over again, I would wish that you carried some of the ducting and plenum and filter box I needed, although through my learning here, that might be difficult and there are a lot of custom items that might be impossible to stock. I really hope to use you again if I purchase A/C, and I referred my sister to you for a new heat pump and will continue to do so with others.
