Terrific job

I purchased this furnace from HVAC Direct to replace an existing furnace in an old manufactured home. The specs and manual were available for the unit and were accurate ensuring that i was purchasing an appropriate unit. A service representative reached out to verify I didn't forget to purchase a flashing kit, which i appreciated because it would have been a problem if i had forgotten. Upon arrival the unit had some minor damage to the door. I reached out to HVAC Direct with pictures and an explanation of what I received and they sent me a new door without hesitation. Problems are inevitable, it is how a business handles problems that show if a business is good or bad. HVAC Direct definitely showed me they are a good business. I will purchase equipment from them again in the future and do recommended purchasing equipment from them.

Overall good experience

Shipping was super fast, it was delivered in just a few days. Well packed, no issues or damage. Freight company gave a days notice and showed up on time. Furnace seems to work well, blower and inducer are much louder than the old one, border line irritatingly loud, but moves quite a bit more air as well.

2 ton split unit to replace trane installed in 2008

Excellent equipment, I have an old friend in the HVAC biz. Quoted $8600 for a "Better" Goodman installed. I had installed an Inverter package in my Mom's house a few years ago and was very impressed with Function and efficiency - and wanted the same for my master suite. I went ahead and had the 'professionals' install it for $1050 and still saved MORE than 50%. They were very impressed with the unit and ease of install (2 wire thermostat) - plus my wife thinks the blue tooth phone setting is Cool - and the $4k we saved took us, the kids, and all the grandkids for week long beach Trip! Happy wife - Happy life!!

All the great thing you hear is true

Massively simple wire hook up 2 wires from the t stat down to the air handler and two out to the condenser. Little braze work I let nitrogen set in the line overnight for one it was late in the evening at that point. Was a late start doing this install. And two I never fully trusted compression fittings. ACiQ did an amazing job with theirs not a single drop in pressure over night! next morning pulled a vacuum down and released the 410 built a new plenum and the customer had cold air blowing by noon. Did a follow up with customer a week later they love their new system, homeowner was concerned with the condenser sitting outside his small Childs bedroom window. of the noise. stated he has to walk outside and almost two feet away to really hear it running. price point and ease of installation I would highly recommend an ACiQ system to everyone

A Quality Heat Pump

This ACiQ heat pump is quiet and quite efficient when paired with an ACiQ indoor air handler in serial communications with each other. It’s well made but there are design issues. There is really no protection for the heat exchange fins. A stray stone or tree branch can easily damage this unit. The the power and communications compartment is not water proof. This heat pump will need to be protected from hard rains. The high side pipe is 5/8” and the low side is 7/8;” are unusual sizes that were harder to source where I live. And the price is higher than it should be because it’s just a rebranded Midea (Senville comparable) heat pump. It didn’t even come with an ACiQ sticker on it!! Should be around $800 to $900, not $1800.

FANTASTIC UNIT!!!!

I'm not an HVAC professional, however I do have rudimentary knowledge of how things work. This weekend I replaced our 17-year-old 2-ton condenser/3 ton coil with a ACiQ-36-EHPB, 3-ton coil, and lineset. After a bit of futzing with ductwork and creative thermostat wiring, I have the unit up and running with the existing gas furnace set up for AUX heat.

I have to say that the install was relatively smooth. We moved the condenser from the south side of the house where it baked in the sun to the northeast side where it is shaded most of the day. I had to add 12.5 oz of refrigerant to top off the additional length of line and everything works great. 22 degree drop across the coil and pours water out of the condensation line.

The ACiQ-36-EHPB is eerily quiet. My sprinklers make more noise than the condenser and fan does. Also, this has the softest of soft starts. The compressor slowly spins up from 0 which is perfect for people who may need to run this from a generator. I tested mine and it ran with no problem. This is in contrast to never being able to start the old one, even after buying a soft start.

I am extremely pleased with the ACiQ-36-EHPB so far. Also, HVAC direct was great to work with, got the unit out the door fast, and I will definitely shop here again.

Recently purchased a package deal with this heat pump. I’m new to the heat pump world but so far it’s working great. Only negative part is I didn’t get the loggo for my unit missing the ACiQ but oh well otherwise great product so far only time will tell.

Positive Experience

All in all a positive experience. The furnace works well and installed very easy. Delivery was very quick. Customer service leaves a little to be desired as I had to call twice to get an email receipt. Turns out my name was spelled wrong and I did correct it below. I ended up having to send an email to customer service and they replied with a receipt. Also a little disappointing the warranty is limited as I installed myself. Small things that will not hold me back from buying from your company again.

Product working well

The product is working well so far. My only complaint is with R&L Carriers that delivered the unit. These clowns just dropped it. No phone call for a day to arrive. Or knock on the door or anything. My roommate was home but had no idea it was outside at the end of the drive. No one signed for it or had a chance to inspect it. I work in the LTL freight business. I know what there damage rate is. Not giving customers a chance to check for damage is unacceptable. Let alone then not calling.. or knocking.. it Sat outside for hours before it was noticed. It could have easily been stolen.. also unacceptable. When I bought it the video said they would call and set up a day and time window.. they just didn't care.. absolutely ridiculous.

Pleased with the furnace

I was very pleased with the furnace I purchased from you. I installed it myself and everything went flawlessly. Jeff tried to reach out to me about purchasing a roof jack to go with the furnace but I was unable to access my email in time and the furnace shipped before I was able to contact him. His advice was spot on and I ended up needing to source one locally to finish the install and it was significantly more expensive than it would have been through your company. I really appreciated his attempt to contact me and save me the inconvenience. I believe that type of follow through and service is very rare these days and it reflects well on your commitment to customer service. I would recommend your company very highly to anyone in need of HVAC components.

Mobile home furnace. The furnace works very well and was easy to install. Buying from HVAC Direct saved me $500 dollars. A local mobile home supply store wanted about $2000 for the same furnace. Thank you for this purchase.
