This unit runs very quietly & works well; seems to be a very good buy for the money. Hookup however is poor. Normally & logically, the power leads connect directly to the main relay. Here the main relay is mounted on the circuit board & jammed up close to the sidewall. So there are pigtail leads that you have to connect to. Much worse, for the thermostat, there are again pigtail leads that you have to connect to rather than have a simple & labeled terminal strip to easily connect to. What makes it worse is they don't use the standard color code for "Common". Rather than the standard Black or Blue color, they use Brown. It is in the manual, however the manual is not located in the compartment where you do all the hookups. They put it in the compressor compartment. Failure of the main relay is a common & understandable issue in AC units, but easily swapped out. Here, it'd be difficult.

I ordered an Air Conditioner, I ordered from Mary and was pleasantly surprised to find out how knowledgeable she was. The order arrived on time or as scheduled. I am very happy with the purchase.

The only issue was no paperwork was provided for the unit.

Your customer service is very good, the whole order arrived without damage. The only thing I would have changed was the shipping details. I met the driver about 4 miles from my house because he was in a full size eighteen wheeler, the extra fee for a residential drop gate was wasted. It turns out that I could have picked up the unit from Lexington's hub to make the shipping cheaper. Then again, the shipping company could have used a smaller transport. I would definitely buy from you again.

I was a 'house flipper' and a landlord, now retired.

I have purchased from HVACD numerous times.

In all my transactions only two problems ever occurred.

1 was wrong supp heat for a pack unit about 5 years ago. This was solved immediately and at no cost to me by the excellent

customer service. That event actually cemented my already good opinion for your company.

Think about that. One never knows how an adversarial situation will be addressed until it happens.

Another was with a split system I had delivered last year. The air-handler was a return with the previous buyer trying

to mount a breaker in the wrong place, holes in the cabinet was the evidence. We just went around that without any fuss.

(I am not known for complaining, but prefer solutions).

This most recent unit is for my personal house. It got delayed delivery (over a week) due to extensive and widespread storm damage the

night before scheduled delivery, not anything anyone had any control over. But it messed up my install schedule.

I hope to do the swap-in next week.

Not a problem. I have 100% confidence (read above) that if an issue pops up it will be resolved properly.

I like the unit very much it took me a while to install it had a hard time finding the flex pipe that I needed. The only real issue I have with it is that where all the panels are which are very nice. I can feel cool air around them where the fan is blowing even in the front where the access panels are. I have went and got some weather strip tape. And I'm going to attempt to seal them. To keep from losing cold air. I have other people who's interested in this machine they're just waiting on me to get it going and see how it works. I do like that the condenser is up high it won't be as bad to get trash in it. Thank you very much.

The first AC unit I received was damaged by the carrier XPO Logistics. HVACDirect replaced it for me with another unit. The replacement unit arrived on a timely manner. Was easy to install and worked perfectly. Thank you for all your help on resolving the damage unit issue. HVACDirect was a great company to do business with.

Keeps our house comfortable.

It has only been approximately 2 weeks since the unit was installed. It appears to be working very well, no problems at this point. Check back with me come summer time here in Arizona which is about May when the unit will be on to cool the house. Right now we have tuned on the heater. I really do not have much to say at this point, but thank you for checking in with me.

We love the 2 3 ton Airquest Package Heat Pumps we purchased. One is installed in my Father-in-laws house and

the other in my house after i completely replaced all my duct work. Both of them work great!!!

Works Great! Fairly quiet unit. I really like the dehumidification mode with my upgraded thermostat. Everything is easily accessible with the side panels and I'm glad they finally moved the control panel further back in the system. I went from a split system with electric heat only, to this. Best money I've ever spent. My electric bill has been cut in half and more.
