Fast shipping but wrong Line set

12K BTU (115V). The Handler and Condenser connectors for line set was 1/4"LL and 3/8"SL. But received 1/4"LL and 1/2"SL.

Overview

We've turned this unit on a couple of times and so far it has operated efficiently. It's being used in my wife's craft room in a newly enclosed area in part of our garage. She's very happy with this units output.

Great value

Unit came in like 2 days I was shocked! It came undamaged and all the parts were there! Installation was a breeze. I bought the head unit in black looks great with my black fans and black accents. It runs a little differently than a lot of mini splits I’ve installed in fact I thought I might have a problem because when it meets temp it just stops. So many I’ve put in the gains close or go to air sampling mode this one just stops. It comes back on I think eco mode is probably where I’ll leave mine. But great product .

Everything is good quality, easy to install. Only bad thing about the units are the lines are not properly separated throughout the air handler portion. Which caused it to leak condensation inside the house. I fixed issue by separating and adding insulation to lines in air handler.

Product is great, service could be better

First unit I ever installed and it went pretty smooth. So far it works great and hopefully it will continue all winter long. My issue was with shipping. I paid extra for lift gate service to be dropped off at my home. The delivery company called the day before and said they can't get a truck and 53' trailer to my address. I ended up having to find a truck and have it delivered to my work. The next day the delivery showed up in a little box truck that would have easily made it to my house. Asked Driver about actually delivering it to my house and he said there would be an extra charge. Anyways I spent my evening unboxing everything so I could unload it from the truck myself.

Working great so far

Easy installation, using the AC right now and is very nice. Light bill did not go up very much and will see when winter arrives with the heating. But satisfied now.

Nice looking equipment, Great Price and Service!

Bought 6 - 3 ton ACIQ heat pump mini splits.
The equipment has a good fit and finish, and the installation was as expected.
It was all packaged well and the shipping crew at HVAC Direct, did a nice job of packing all the equipment so that it was not damaged in shipping.
I will definitely buy from HVAC Direct again.

Great Purchase

This unit was on sale for a great price, checked all the boxes, shipping was lightning fast, and customer support was fantastic. The unit itself was straightforward to install, and came pre-charged with refrigerant. (You'll need some specialty tools.) I purchased for my garage, and it's working champion. I was able to sync it with my smart home Alexa using the app. This is a great unit, and cools down my garage (About 1,000 square feet, 13 foot ceilings) in about 10-15 minutes. My only small complaint is that the remote is a little confusing to use and not very straightforward.
