- NoisyPrice100%Quality60%Service100%The GSZ140241LA engineering has moved to a Taiwanese Reichi compressor (same with the 1.5T) that has a fairly unpleasant metallic sound, mainly on the left side of the unit. Unit performs exactly in line with the datasheet, at least. Recommend going to one of the 16 SEER offerings where you still get a Copeland compressor, or upsize to 3T where you get LG, which also appears to be a nice compressor.
