    My a/c quit last fall. After some research I decided to do a full replacement of both units. After placing my order there were some out of stock issues. Nicholas was great in helping me get substitutions for my order. There were also some concerns about the delivery. He was great in coordinating the day and delivery time.   4. ACIQ 4 ton unit
    I installed this unit last weekend along with a matching coil during a heat wave. It performed perfectly. I like the 2 stage function. It drops to the 1st stage when it reaches thermostat set temp and maintains house temp using less energy. I hope this unit performs for years to come, but so far I am very happy especially the price I purchased it for.

    Only time will tell when it comes to long term reliability but I have confidence I'll not need to make any claims during the 12 year warranty period.

  8. Goodman refuses to fix
    The concerns the maker, not HVACDirect. Goodman's warranty has an absolute arbitration clause, clue #1 CYA and they would not their mistake with the homeowner direct. They will talk to your professional installer OR who sold the unit. Problem: The spy hole in the bottom panel is in the wrong place - Error codes are NOT visible unless the cover is removed, which the interlock switch prevents the unit from operating. The circuit bd placement or assembly error is not something the homeowner needs to spend $$ correcting. I have no respect for Goodman, and the 1 stars reflect upon them. Is it just my unit? That's why a class action would help but it is not legally allowed.

    My air conditioning condenser went out in the middle of a heat wave, I called around everywhere in my town, all the service shop were at least a month backed up, I figured I’d get a unit and do it myself, I called local suppliers, they wouldn’t sell to me because I don’t have an HVAC buisness. So I searched online and hvac direct came up 1st on search, I checked the prices, I had to do research on them, I thought at those prices it had to be a scam, lol turned out nothing but good reviews. The unit was 1,000.00 cheaper than anything around so I ordered it, it came in less than a week and I installed it myself in 3 hours, had a HVAC guy come in to start it up, awesome unit and I’m saving 150.00 a month on my electric bill to boot! Highly recommend.

    Really nice product. 3 ton unit runs 10 times quieter than my old 2 ton unit. Looks so much better than traditional condensers and uses half the electricity of my old one.

    I am very impressed with your company. From your sales, especially Chad, down to the shipping. On all my previous orders, the packing is done very well and quick. I can’t see me ordering any HVAC equipment with out looking at you first.

    Speaking of products, I am very impressed with this ACiQ line. I think the Koreans do some nice stuff.

    When I needed some technical support I got quick and helpful info.

    I’ve been doing HVAC since 1965. I think the direction you are taking here is the right move. Keep up the great work!

  37. I should have gotten one sooner!
    I installed the 3 Ton 18 SEER ACiQ Inverter Heat Pump Condenser with a 5 ton coil that matched my furnace box. The service manual has a chart to set the pressures to based on Temperature when at stable high cool/heat. I have it setup as a dual fuel configuration with my ancient 60% furnace. I am in Iowa and we get negative Temps. This heat pump has already saved me hundreds of dollars on my heating bill.

  45. Everything went as planned
    I installed the little furnace the afternoon it arrived. Well I transported it 100 miles northward and then installed it on the plenum I had built for the former furnace. I made certain the footprint was the same as the former downdraft. The unit is an upgrade to the 40,000 BTU, which operated well for about 15 years there.
    As far as dealing with you folks, everything went as planned, save for the delivery delay due to whatever strange weather was plaguing everyone the one day. No fault of yours. My plan was to install before that wicked sub-zero set in and I accomplished that. No frozen water pipes in our cabin in the forest.

    I finally got that furnace installed. I'm pretty happy with it, mostly probably because I'm warmer, but it was a pleasant experience buying from HVAC Direct. Even the shipper was nice and prompt. I don't have any complaints, except I didn't know what I was doing when I started. Had I to do it over again, I would wish that you carried some of the ducting and plenum and filter box I needed, although through my learning here, that might be difficult and there are a lot of custom items that might be impossible to stock. I really hope to use you again if I purchase A/C, and I referred my sister to you for a new heat pump and will continue to do so with others.

  52. 4th system purchased
    This our 4th system purchase from HVAC direct. We have been very happy with the previous purchases. This last purchase seems all okay except for one issue. the Line set was to be 3/4” and 3/8” 30 foot. Since we just opened all of the boxes today, we found the 3/8” pipe was missing from the line set box. Only the 3/4” insulated pipe was in the box. The weather has been so cold we have stored the shipment until today.

    Other than this issue everything has been stellar! We are about ready to order another system.
