Goodman refuses to fix

The concerns the maker, not HVACDirect. Goodman's warranty has an absolute arbitration clause, clue #1 CYA and they would not their mistake with the homeowner direct. They will talk to your professional installer OR who sold the unit. Problem: The spy hole in the bottom panel is in the wrong place - Error codes are NOT visible unless the cover is removed, which the interlock switch prevents the unit from operating. The circuit bd placement or assembly error is not something the homeowner needs to spend $$ correcting. I have no respect for Goodman, and the 1 stars reflect upon them. Is it just my unit? That's why a class action would help but it is not legally allowed.

Everything went as planned

I installed the little furnace the afternoon it arrived. Well I transported it 100 miles northward and then installed it on the plenum I had built for the former furnace. I made certain the footprint was the same as the former downdraft. The unit is an upgrade to the 40,000 BTU, which operated well for about 15 years there.
As far as dealing with you folks, everything went as planned, save for the delivery delay due to whatever strange weather was plaguing everyone the one day. No fault of yours. My plan was to install before that wicked sub-zero set in and I accomplished that. No frozen water pipes in our cabin in the forest.

Happy with it

I finally got that furnace installed. I'm pretty happy with it, mostly probably because I'm warmer, but it was a pleasant experience buying from HVAC Direct. Even the shipper was nice and prompt. I don't have any complaints, except I didn't know what I was doing when I started. Had I to do it over again, I would wish that you carried some of the ducting and plenum and filter box I needed, although through my learning here, that might be difficult and there are a lot of custom items that might be impossible to stock. I really hope to use you again if I purchase A/C, and I referred my sister to you for a new heat pump and will continue to do so with others.

Quite satisfied so far with furnace. It was delivered with no damage and was relatively easy to install. It started right up out if the box. I had a certified Hvac tech tune it up right after install and he had to make very little adjustment.

Great customer service

We have not installed this system yet, waiting for a break in this brutal heat. My system is still working (just old) so no reason to take a chance and be without air conditioning at our ages.

BUT…… the guy who helped me on the phone with my order was FANTASTIC, don’t lose him.

Exceeded my expectations

I purchased a Goodman 3 tn. AC unit from you.

I have listed my comments below:

The sales support person was very helpful. He asked questions that I had not thought of. This resulted in an order that exactly satisfied my requirements. I have a split system that I was replacing only the AC section and retaining the gas furnace section. He made sure that we had the correct measurements for the condenser/coil pack. This saved me from having to return and replace components.
As promised the order was shipped the next business day, with a tracking number and carrier information.
My order arrived on schedule with no damage, and correct as per the order. Everything fit perfectly. The carrier who delivered, unloaded and placed the order in my garage.
HVACDIRECT exceeded my expectations. My contact was very knowledgeable, patient, and enjoyable to work with. I will soon be requiring another AC unit and I plan to purchase from HVACDirect.
