New 60,000 btu furnace

My 21 year old furnace died in the middle of winter. Called on Friday and had a new 60,000 btu Aciq delivered to my garage in 4 days . Installed it the next day and it’s been doing great. Hopefully helps with the gas bill ????

Decent unit

Been great so far, fairly simple install. Really happy with it so far. Only issues I had was that it came with the bear air filter housing and they didn't tell me that when I was chatting with them about my order. I ordered the housing separately and ended up with two. Also the flexible gas line I ordered in the install kit leaked badly, you could see a ridge down the flare. Not a big deal though all in all it was good. Got it in about a week, and installed it over the weekend. Efficiency seems great, got this unit to replace my 30 year old broken down furnace.

Purchased a scratch and dent unit, it was dented as advertised when it arrived. Packaging for shipment to me was very well done. Preexisting damage was nothing that affected installation or operation. Has been working for a month now with no issues. Very satisfied.

Easy to DIY install and quiet furnace

I got the ACiQ natural gas upflow forced air 80,000 BTU model to replace a failed 20 year old Carrier in my home. I ordered Thursday late afternoon and got it on Monday morning in NJ. I paid for liftgate delivery; the driver brought the unit to my front door. The packaging was fantastic; there were no dents, scratches and damage. Accessories needed to install were all there inside the unit by the blower. The unit is much quieter and simpler design than the one it replaced. It should be easier to maintain. It has been working flawlessly for over a week now. Very happy with my purchase!

The furnace came promptly and it was packaged well so there was no damage. Looking it over, it seems to be good. I won't know how well it works as it is scheduled to be installed for the next heating season. I would buy here again.

Great furnace

I switched my furnace this year from an oil furnace to this ACIQ natural gas furnace. My wife and I have been very pleased with everything. The unit arrived quicky in perfect condition. It keeps our house nice and warm and the efficiency level has made the gas bills very easy on our wallet especially compared to the old oil furnace we replaced it with. We have no complaints and will definitely buy from HVAC direct in the future if we need any other HVAC items.

The furnace, A coil, condenser and associated items arrived promptly and appear to be in great condition.

I ordered a replacement furnace and central air system for our cottage, as the existing unit is approaching 25 years in service. I do not intend to install this unit until next Spring, so I will know how it works in May sometime.

I completed the new furnace/AC install, and am very pleased with all the products. My order arrived quickly, was packed/crated very well and delivered with care. One of several nice features of HVAC Direct's website were the sizing calculators and the complete package "kits" (furnace/evaporator coil & condensing unit), which made me confident that the components I was ordering would work with/fit each other. The detailed descriptions with each product also were convenient for comparing the different kits so I knew exactly what I was ordering. The website is well done and convenient to navigate. Although I was hoping to purchase either American Standard or Trane, the ICP (Carrier) products you carried seemed like a reasonable compromise and I was pleased with the build quality of all the components.

Overall, well done website and excellent ordering/shipping experience.

Glad I found you

Glad I found HVACDirect online. My furnace was dead. Having hvac experience, I just needed equipment. Hvac companies won't sell to the public and the big home improvement stores were not only 50% more expensive but had a several day wait period for shipping. At Hvacdirect I was able to pick up same day and save hundreds. I live in Georgia and almost didn't make the call to Ohio as it's a 20 hour round trip and I didn't want to go without heat waiting for delivery. Glad I did though since I learned that you have warehouses in Georgia. (You may want to add that to your website) I was pleased with your customer service. Questions answered, payment seamless, good product and value. Small glitch in communication between service rep and warehouse causing a delay at pickup but that was ironed out in a few minutes. Overall a great experience. I will definitely recommend HVACdirect to friends and family and use again myself.

Shipping delays

The only thing that became a problem was the shipping as I was told that everything was in stock and would ship the following monday or tuesday at the latest and that did not happen for about

three weeks and then the freight company did not deliver until the 9th of january a lot different than 7 to 10 days.

I schedualed installation for the week after xmas and had to cancel due to non delivery and now everyone is to busy so will have to get furnace installed and wait for 3 ft of snow to melt

Working very well

The products appear to be working very well. The only issue I had was in the communication of when I would be receiving the product. I ended up having to call in order to find out and track through the various companies to know when it would get here. No email or call was sent to me to update me.

Other than that it was wonderful service and the products brought a much needed improvement to the building they went in. There was no problem installing them and they arrived in perfect condition. Thank you.

Everything went well

everything went well from delivery until the furnace was running. Except one thing. I was doing the propane conversion, and one step was a little confusing. The flame wasn’t getting enough fuel. I tried a few things, then went back and reversed one step ( replaced the springs I was instructed to remove. Then, the burner worked instantly. I adjusted it a little bit and it was perfect.

I like the way it runs. Very smooth and quiet. It is in a rental house, so I don’t have any experience with it since installing it. But, I haven’t had any complaints, that is the goal.

Nice quality furnace for a great price

We purchased this furnace when our old furnace's heat exchanger went out. This furnace is so much better than the old Carrier furnace that was 17 years old. It's much quieter, heats the house quicker, and doesn't run all the time. It was easy to install with the clear instruction manual. Fit right up to existing ducting and exhaust and air intake piping. For the most part the product was fine. The furnace unit fan dragged due to a screw being stripped through. So it sucks having to fix a brand new product, but we were able to get it done before installation.

Very dependable after about 5 years now. This was a basic affordable option after our Goodman 92 died (30 years old). Our gas bill has been less as well. Had absolutely no problem keeping our 1700sq ft Bi level home heated in cold illinois weather.
