I’ve had this for 4 winters thus far and it has performed perfectly. I would have given it a 5 star on quality but when I installed it there was a couple wire wired wrong within the outside unit and it took me awhile to trace down the issue. Very simple fix just a Matter of switching wires to the right connector where part of the unit uses 110 and the other 220.

Super deal, easy to install, made my garage comfy in the summer and winter!!!! I wish I had done this many many years ago!!! We put a smaller unit in our master bedroom and between the two of these units, and using our central air units less - we have saved money every month on our electric bill!

Our mini split was delivered on time and in good shape. It was very easy to connect once I got electricity to the area. We're going on a year, and it's done great. Even this past winter when temps were extremely low in my area, it was still putting out heat. It wasn't as good as when the temps aren't so low, but it did the job. I did notice that it had to defrost more often. The A/C works great. I have the unit in a 30-40 metal shop with 16-foot-high ceilings at the peak. It's spray foamed and the A/C can keep it comfortable. It would take the A/C a little time to freeze us out, but I just leave it on 75 all the time. I'll be purchasing another unit from HVAC direct due to the smoothness of my transaction.

We got our unit installed last Saturday and are very pleased so far. It cools great and runs so quiet which is a plus.

They are sitting in my shop, still in the boxes. I did my research and chose the units that fit my need. I liked the ratings on them. I assume I will be fery happy with them. I'll need the molding track to cover the line sets and I'll be ordering that in the near future.

I’m really liking the mini split that I ordered. The shipping from HVACDIRECT was excellent. I called in to check if the unit was in stock and the nice lady who answered stated that it was not in stock but that she would do everything she could to ensure one was shipped out as soon as received. I actually received the unit way sooner that I thought. It seems like the product came in right after I ordered it with her on the phone because I had it at my location several days later. The unit was packed very well. It was on a pallet and all the boxes were in the middle and then surrounded by a heavy layer of carboard “walls” put up all around the pieces centered on the pallet. Everything was then wrapped in clear wrap. The instructions were very straight forward and within an hour or two, I had the unit installed and working. It blows a lot more than I thought it would and so far it’s cooled and heated really well. The remote is nice, the unit is quiet, all the parts arrived correctly and without damage. I am a happy customer who will be using HVACDIRECT for all my mini split needs in the future. Excellent experience that I really appreciated. I have it installed in a 30x40 spray foamed metal building.

With respect to your company’s performance, I have been very pleased. The Perfect Aire system’s price was reasonable, especially considering the free shipping. It was securely packaged for shipping so that there was absolutely no shipping damage. The order also arrived complete with nothing missing. My only critical comment regarding packaging for shipping is that the very large pallet made it relatively difficult for the driver to use a pallet jack to get it off the truck for my residential curb delivery. Nevertheless, this was accomplished without incident.

I got the system finally installed only yesterday and it is working very well, cooling my 1200 square foot shop (steel with sprayed on foam insulation). I had no real difficulties installing the system. I’d never done anything like it before, so I took my time. My only criticism of the unit has to do with the instructions. It’s obvious the manual was written by someone whose first language is not English. The manual for the remote (the actual operating instructions) is particularly problematical, with several grammatical errors. More bothersome, though, is that I have no idea what two of the “modes” on this system do. There is no explanation whatsoever for “AI Smart” mode or for “Lock” mode. The instructions tell how to turn them on and off, but not what they do.

Installed 2 units. Installation was fairly easy. They work great. They are very quiet on both compressor and head end. Company recommends a 2.5 inch hole but we used a 3 inch hole on second unit and it made installation much easier.

Easy to install. Comes with everything you need apart from 30 amp double breaker, 10/2 wire, 30 amp disconnect and wall mount (if you want the unit off the ground).
I installed mine in a 1800 sq ft insulated steel building. It will keep it cool on a 90 degree day with no issues. Also, it’s super quiet.

Extremely easy to install. Better warranty than Mr. Cool, and was a little cheaper. I coupled this unit with a Cielo Breez Eco, and it is absolutely perfect! Using it to keep my 1100 sq foot pole barn cool/warm. It does a great job! I especially love that the vents will rotate up & down as well as side to side.

I installed this in 4 hours with the help of two friends. The directions were fairly clear, and the installation went perfectly! This is a well designed package!

I had one issue with the condenser wall mount. Customer service couldn’t have been more helpful, and immediately sent me the right mount.

Delivery was excellent, the step by step installation instructions were easy to follow and the whole unit was installed with all the ducting and wiring in about 4 hours. Working great office was cool in about 15 minutes.

So far I'm extremely pleased. The install was very easy and it works like a champ. It's quiet and cools a 1000sqft shop in minutes and holds that temp with minimal effort. My only complaint is that it did not come with the drip line extension. The unit has about 48" or so of drip line already installed in the system however, you need to purchase the extender separately. I really think that if this is being sold as a kit, it should be included. Unfortunately, I did not realize I needed it until I was in the process of installing it. Overall though, I'm very happy with my purchase.

The only thing you will need help with on this kit is the electrical connection (ask an electrician to run an ac disconnect switch with a "ac whip" for you or do it yourself if you are comfortable/certified.

The things I needed help with were lifting the units and handling the lineset passing it from the basement up to the condenser outside.

This unit cools my 1500 sq ft basement from 80 F to 70 F in a couple hours. Dehumidification isn't its strong suit but it does certainly work. If the price difference wasn't so minimal I would've purchased the 24k unit but I'm glad I went bigger because it runs less and saves a lot of electricity and also these are near s'ilent inside and outside at full power.

To install the 3 ton version or "36,000 BTU" verison of this unit you will need a few people to help lift the unit onto a slab/wallmount or some form of lift/dolly. The weight isn't really a big deal it's the huge size of the 3 ton unit. Not that it's too big or anything its just it's a freakin 3 ton unit.... lol

The delivery man was extremely courteous and placed the palets where I needed them. This unit was super easy to install. I followed the instructions to the letter. Watching videos on YouTube was a great help. We put the inside unit upstairs. It was easier to mount the inside unit with two people inside and one outside while feeding the Line Set through the wall. I used Plastic gutter downspouts for Line Set covers outside and painted them to match the siding. An HV/AC friend of mine couldn't believe we did it ourselves and that we didn't need to pull a vacuum. It cooled well through the summer and is heating well as we enter winter.

Very easy to install. Just take your time. This is my second unit and they work great. Air-conditioning and heat in one unit and you can’t beat the price. I have both units in my Cabin in the woods. One upstairs and one downstairs. The Wi-Fi hook up is a great feature to have to turn on the heat or your air conditioning before I get there. Customer service at HVAC direct is GREAT. I highly recommend Perfect Air units.

I have had this unit for about one year now. Definitely worth the money. I haven’t had any problems with my unit. I have it in a second home was a Wi-Fi hook up. The Wi-Fi helps me turn it on before I get to the house. In the summer it cools the house before I get there, and in the winter it heats up before I get there. You can’t ask for anything more! Overall a great product. I highly recommend it.

Cant go wrong for the price. I have the unit up about a year now and A/C and heat both work great. Wasn't hard to install just take your time. I'm looking at another unit now for upstairs.

Easy DIY project, quick delivery, 2 box set. Easy install in less than 2hrs with help needed to run line set through wall. If you can run a drill, wire in breaker, without government oversight.. this will be for you.

Installation was straightforward and not too difficult for a DIY.
We've been able to evaluate the unit with cooling a few hot days and now heating on some much cooler days. We are quite pleased so far with the operation of the Perfect Aire unit.

WOW.. so easy to install and the unit works great. I have this in my cabin in the Northwoods and it has saved me lots of money on my electric bill. The WI-Fi is awesome and easy to use. It even has a Geo Fence on it so when you leave the house it shuts off automatically and when i return within a certain distance from the house it automatically comes back on. After reading all the negative reviews on the MR Cool Wi-Fi i am so glad i went with Perfect Aire. Thanks for a great product
