How is the Rheem gas classic series professional water heater different from a similar model offered at Lowe’?

Lowes does not carry the Rheem water heater brand they carry AO Smith. There aren’t any major differences and choosing one or the other typically comes down to preference of the brand. Also, Rheem will typically be cheaper in cost compared to AO Smith, but the quality is the same.

A premium-grade anode rod provides long-lasting tank protection. Factory-installed temperature and pressure relief valve and 3/4 in. water connections are included with the water heater for easy installation.
