It is used to protect floors in the event of a leak or drip from the runoff tube. It is made of aluminum and will not rust or crack. It can be used for gas or electric water heaters.

Diameter of the pan should be at least 4 in. greater than the diameter of the water heater
Included PVC drain fitting will fit 1 in. or 1.5 in. drain pipes
