This is intentional, to maintain the overall efficiency of the entire system. Please note that in order for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately.

Like a light switch, this furnace's burner will either be on or off and nothing in between. A single stage furnace is the standard efficient furnace since every time your furnace turns on the furnace uses the same amount of energy.
Natural Gas or LP Furnace
From the factory, the AQ-GR9S800403AXruns on natural gas. However all ACiQ gas furnaces can be converted to propane using the furnace's corresponding LP conversion kit, an optional accessory at an additional cost that consists of a replacement set of orifices and springs.

This is for house build in 1938 and renovation in 2018 with a deck floor addition. The livable square footage of this house is 2,100 square feet in Northern New Jersey. Keeps the place comfortable and reasonably quiet. I highly recommend Goodman and HVACDIRECT.com.

- HVAC equipmentOrdered furnace, ac coil, and condenser to match. Upon arrival all three items we're damaged, I refused shipment and took pictures. I contacted HVAC direct immediately and informed them of the situation. They sent out new equipment without any delay and the new shipment arrived quicker than the first. Second time around all HVAC equipment is in great condition. I have not finished installing yet, but I am impressed with the speed in which HVAC direct solved my shipping damage. I will be ordering more in the future because of their willingness to make a bad situation good!

- Great OptionI will say that HVAC direct provides a great service in not having to jump through hoops in order for a home owner to buy a furnace. The furnace is built pretty basic and that is what I wanted. Just keep in mind that if you are a homeowner installing the unit on your own and you have an issue with the furnace, you must have a certified tech troubleshoot and give you a report to forward to Goodman in order to use the warranty. HVAC direct ships fast as lightning. Don't be afraid, buy the equipment and save thousands.
