Customer Questions
Does it work with mini split
No, the ACiQ STN1320 thermostat is not directly compatible with a standard ductless mini-split system out of the box. The STN1320 is a standard 24V AC thermostat designed for traditional, central HVAC systems (such as split-system heat pumps, furnaces, and air handlers). Most ductless mini-splits use proprietary DC low-voltage communication signals and are controlled via factory wireless remotes or dedicated wired controllers. If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.
