OVERVIEW

The Stealth Designer Series Single Zone SC-18Z-UM heat pump condenser has a Gen 3 variable inverter compressor, for even, predictable cooling and heating without temperature swings or noisy on/off cycling. The condenser ships with a pre-charge of eco-friendly R410a refrigerant.

18,000 BTU, 23 SEER

A system this size is suitable for rooms up to 750 square feet depending on climate in your area. The SEER rating of 23 means you pay less for this amount of heating and cooling compared to systems with lower SEER values. Stealth means elite performance and everyday prices.

14 Year Warranty

The Stealth Emerald Series features a 14 warranty with online registration. The standard warranty on the SC-18Z-UM is a 5-year parts and 7-year limited compressor warranty. With online registration and an installation following state and local installation codes, the compressor warranty increases to 14 years.

Installation and Maintenance

Every Stealth Designer Series condenser includes a pre-charge of eco-friendly R410a refrigerant, enough for 25’ of line set per air handler. The line set fittings are compression-type and will require evacuation prior to refrigerant release. Line set kits- including both refrigerant lines, control wire and drain hose extensions, are available under Accessories on this page. Stealth Designer Series features self-diagnosing electronics. Should the system detect a fault, error codes will display on the front of the unit.

Please note:  

This system includes only the outdoor condenser, indoor air handler and wall mounted, or remote thermostat (depending on model) as depicted in the photo above. Additional Accessories are required to complete the installation. Each air handler requires a separate refrigerant line set, control wire and condensation control. The condenser requires connection to household power, wired through a disconnect switch and flexible, weatherproof conduit (whip). Additional optional accessories are also available. Stealth Designer Series Concealed Ducted units are flexible air handlers that can be concealed above ceilings, beneath floors, above closets or in hallways.  Supply air can be delivered directly into rooms through a grate, or through a field-fabricated duct board plenum and flex ducting.  Concealed duct air handlers all come equipped with a factory installed condensate drain pump to move water to a safe discharge location.  A wall-mounted thermostat is included. 

Please note:  This air handler must be connected to an outdoor condenser in order to function.
