2.5 Ton, 80,000 BTU
The ACiQ AQ-GPDM33008041 is rated for 2.5 tons on the heat pump and air conditioning side of the unit. On the gas side of the unit, the input is rated for 80,000 BTU, and an output of 65,000 BTU, calculated by multiplying the 80% efficiency with the input BTU.
13.4 SEER2, 80% AFUE
At a standard efficiency, the AQ-GPDM33008041 is 13.4 SEER2 on the electric side of the unit. The gas efficiency of the unit is 80%, or 80% of the gas that goes into the unit is used to heat your home and 19% of the gas is used up in normal operations and is lost out of the flue venting.
Dual Fuel
A dual fuel unit has both an electric-powered heat pump and a gas-powered burner, along with an air conditioner unit built-in. The heat pump functions down to around 30°F, where the unit has a safety cutoff to protect the unit and the gas heating side kicks in, continuing to heat your home at colder temperatures. This feature is a smart option for any situation where electricity is cheaper than gas, like in many propane situations, saving you money on your heating bills over potentially expensive excessive propane refills. While the unit comes from the factory with natural gas orifices, a propane conversion kit can be purchased at an additional cost and field-installed if you would like to take advantage of this money-saving unit.

ACiQ provides a 10 year parts warranty and an impressive 20 year heat exchanger warranty. Please note that the unit must be installed following your state and local codes and the unit must be registered online through the manufacturer for the warranty to be upheld.

The unit also meets Florida building code unit integrity requirements for hurricane-type weather when properly anchored. For reliability, the unit's blower motor is completely sealed and permanently lubricated.
