Dual-Pump Sump Protection with Automatic AC Battery Backup
The iON 35ACi Deluxe is an advanced dual-pump sump pump and battery backup system designed to provide reliable residential water-removal protection during normal operation and power outages. It features two identical 1/3 HP stainless steel and cast iron BA33i sump pumps that alternate operation during normal conditions, providing built-in redundancy if either pump becomes inoperable.
The system delivers up to 53 GPM at 10 feet of total dynamic head and operates from standard 120V AC utility power. When utility power is unavailable, the 800 VA inverter automatically converts power from a connected 12-volt AGM battery into auxiliary 120V AC power, allowing the sump pumps to continue operating during an outage.

Dual-Pump Sump Protection
The iON 35ACi Deluxe combines two 1/3 HP sump pumps with automatic battery backup to provide comprehensive residential sump protection. During normal conditions, the two BA33i pumps alternate operating cycles using household AC power. This helps distribute pump runtime while maintaining a second pump for redundancy.
If one pump becomes unavailable, the remaining pump can continue providing sump pumping capability. When utility power is lost, the system automatically switches to auxiliary AC power generated from the connected battery.
High-Capacity AC Battery Backup
The 800 VA power inverter converts stored energy from the connected 12-volt AGM battery into 120V AC power during an outage. This allows the system's sump pumps to continue operating using auxiliary AC power rather than relying on a conventional DC backup pump.
During normal utility operation, the system bypasses battery power and operates from household AC power. When utility power returns, the integrated charger automatically recharges the battery and keeps it ready for future backup operation.
The system requires one 12-volt deep-cycle AGM battery, which is sold separately.
iON Genesis Smart-Sensing Controller
The iON Genesis controller uses solid-state digital level sensing without moving parts or contact points for automatic water-level monitoring and pump control. The controller manages alternating pump operation while providing system monitoring and alarm functions.
A redundant high-water sensor provides secondary level detection and can serve as an emergency level sensor if the primary level-sensing system encounters a problem. The controller also provides LED status indicators, an LCD display, and multiple alarm functions for conditions such as high water, excessive pump runtime, power loss, and pump failure.
A remote alarm contact is also provided for connection to a compatible external property security or monitoring system.
Automatic Battery Charging
The integrated 800 VA inverter/charger automatically maintains the connected AGM battery while utility power is available. During normal operation, the system uses household AC power rather than unnecessarily consuming stored battery energy.
When utility power is interrupted, stored battery energy is converted to auxiliary 120V AC power for the sump pumps. Once utility power is restored, the system resumes automatic battery charging.

The iON 35ACi Deluxe includes two BA33i 1/3 HP stainless steel and cast iron sump pumps, an iON Genesis smart-sensing controller and alarm, an 800 VA power inverter/charger, a non-corrosive battery enclosure, a level control sensor, and a high-water alarm sensor with redundant level control.
The required 12-volt deep-cycle AGM battery is not included and must be purchased separately.
