    I ordered the Infinity Living 2.5 Ton August 14th 2025, and they sent me the Infinity Living 3 Ton unit for the same price. The unit arrived nicely packaged on a pallet August 15th 2025, fast shipping! I unpacked the system and was impressed with the quality and workmanship. I recently installed a Goodman system which was good, however, the Infinity Living system has better quality fit and finish. I changed the air handler (rotated the evaporator 180 degrees to the down draft flow position and installed a 20 kwh auxiliary heating unit in the plenum which was fairly easy to complete, however, I did not install the system until November 2025. The precharged line set with adapters and O-rings was very high quality and included additional accessories for installation. After installation the system started right up and was exceptionally quiet. I also used the wired class 2 thermostat that was included with the system. I called the HVAC Direct tech line and spoke with Andrew and verified some of the wiring connections since the installation instructions/wiring schematics were not the best. He was great to work with concerning the questionable installation manual. I am definitely impressed with the quality and price. The only drawback is the accuracy and clarity of the instruction manuals, however, the tech line seemed to “know” about the installation manual issues and were on top of it. All in all I am pleased with the sales and service at HVAC Direct. Keep up the good work!
    P.S The thermostat instructions were similar to the installation manuals.

    I’ve installed multiple units over my career as a HVAC technician, and I am surprised of the amount of information given , lacks detailed explanation of wiring connections, especially with the wired thermostat that came with the unit, the confusing information of the added heater to a heatpump, the connection, switch settings, and the manual diagrams.

    Overall I'm happy with the purchase - the price was very good, the unit seems to be well made (Infinity Living seems to be identical to MRCOOL, made by Midea/Gree), and the shipping was VERY fast - four days for a well packed pallet. The pre-sales folks steered me pretty hard from MRCOOL to the Infinity Living unit, not sure why, they seem to be identical but the price was better.

    The only ding I can give it is that the documentation specifically for the Infinity Living models is VERY poor - missing critical info (for example torque values for the male couplers on the pre-charged lineset, specific wiring details for the controller and component communication, etc), and missing many diagrams. The saving grace is that since it is basically identical to the MRCOOL units, I just used the MRCOOL installation documents, which are far superior with additional diagrams. Tech support was good and provided some answers also. If you've never done a heat pump install before (I'm a savvy DIYer with lots of general electrical/plumbing/mechanical experience, but not an HVAC specialist) the only tricky part is working with the refrigerant lineset - it is flexible but rigid, and running it through several openings and bends through an attic proved quite tricky, and I was afraid I would kink it and botch the whole process - but alas it worked out and the system is running fine.

    I bought the Infinity Living 3 Ton 16 SEER2 Central Ducted Hyper Heat Split System on May 6, 2025 and it was delivered in two days. Very easy to install by myself and I was replacing an old R22 - 13 SEER unit that had leaked its refrigerant. So no new duct work. The refrigerant was going to cost over $200/lb and need more than 12 lbs. So I decided to replace the whole unit. The local HVAC dealer I used to check the leak on my old system quoted $8300 for a new 13 SEER signal stage heat pump. This one has an inverter compressor and inverter driven blower fan (much quieter). Also I am controlling the unit with my Ecobee thermostat which will cut the performance to two (2) stages of cooling and three (3) of heating. But the ecobee thermostat will trend cycle times and allow for remote control. This summer I may switch to the onboard thermostat with its wired remote controller and test how it feels. I only needed to speak with Tech support about using the third party thermostat. The instruction manuals were very vague, but youtube videos made up the difference. I needed to watched several, because one may have good info on wiring and another on the line sets. The new system compared to my old Goodman is better built and made with thicker metal and a better paint finish. Its has only been two weeks of running, but looks promising.

    I looked around at different models and before making my final decision I called and spoke to a customer representative. He was very helpful and ended up calling back and have him place the order. I was surprised with how fast the shipping was ordered Monday afternoon and Wednesday delivery. The packing was great nothing was damaged. The installation was straightforward and the unit looks nice. But even more important is it’s quiet!!!! I mean I powered up the unit and since I couldn’t hear the out side unit kicking on I was thinking it was not working. I went out to check if it was getting power and to my surprise it was running. So when they say it quite they mean it!

    I bought this 3 ton split system with Electric back up. It was a very high sea rating. The price was wonderful way cheaper than anyone else. The shipping was prompt. The payment was easy.
