The CPS CSR-U-3 hard start kit is designed to be used with any brand of air conditioning or heat pump condenser ranging from 4-5 tons in size with a scroll compressor. This hard start kit reduces the time the compressor is on high amp start up which will help prevent the light dimming effect the outdoor condenser causes when starting.
