- EASY TO INSTALLI installed the 5 ton heat pump system as a DIY project in my own home. The installation was pretty straightforward and easy to do especially using the Infinity Living supplied thermostat. I opted to add the 20kW heat strip and found the instructions and hookup for that less than helpful. I did figure that out (it took two 60A lines to feed the coil and another 15A line for the circuit board. Other than that, the system is working well so far and I hope it's efficient through the summer heat and cold winters. The HVAC Direct staff are friendly and helpful.
